Scott is a Senior Partner at Benson Blackburn, where he specializes in preserving wealth through innovative insurance solutions tailored to meet the unique financial and estate planning goals of ultra-affluent clients. He is dedicated to understanding each client’s objectives and orchestrating the design and implementation of comprehensive strategies that safeguard their financial legacy.
Scott began his career at Benson Blackburn in 2010 as a Case Design Analyst, providing illustration support and in-depth analysis of client insurance portfolios. His keen understanding of client needs and industry trends led him to become an equity partner in 2015, where he has since focused on advising high-net-worth individuals on complex life insurance applications and strategies.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Planning from Bowling Green State University. During his time at the university, Scott was a member of the golf team and served as an advisor to the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. He is a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) and a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), reflecting his commitment to continuous professional development and expertise in wealth preservation techniques.
Scott is actively engaged in the professional community as a board member of the Naples Estate Planning Council and serves on M Financial’s Product Development Group. His civic involvement has included volunteering with various non-profits in Naples, such as the Shelter for Abused Women & Children, Naples Botanical Garden, and NCH Healthcare System.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Scott and his wife, Lauren, relocated to Naples, Florida, in 2012, where they are raising their three children.
